Tampa has reportedly been selected as the host city for next year's WrestleMania.
WWE will formally announce Raymond James Stadium - home to the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers - as the site of WrestleMania 36 at a press conference Thursday, sources told Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times. The news comes 10 months after the Tampa Bay Sports Commission submitted a bid to host WrestleMania in either 2023, 2024, or 2025.
WrestleMania has been held in Florida on three occasions, but this would mark the first time that Tampa has hosted the event.
WrestleMania 36 will take place April 5, 2020.
