World Wrestling Entertainment has reportedly lined their pockets with some serious coin after agreeing to move SmackDown Live from USA Network to FOX, reports ESPN's Darren Rovell. The show will apparently shift from Tuesday to Friday.

The deal, which is expected to begin in October 2019, is a five-year agreement worth more than $1 billion, sources told The Hollywood Reporter's Marisa Guthrie.

WWE will reportedly earn $205 million annually, which is an increase over what they were being paid by NBCUniversal to air SmackDown on USA Network.

The wrestling conglomerate apparently had an even larger bid, according to Guthrie, but turned it down in favor of FOX due to the network's willingness to promote the brand in a similar fashion to the National Football League and Major League Baseball.

WWE's most popular show "Monday Night Raw" will continue to air on USA Network, although FOX has shown past interest in acquiring it as well.
