Team Canada forward Gilbert Brule was ejected for an illegal hit to the head of Germany forward David Wolf during the second period of Friday's semifinal of the men's hockey tournament at PyeongChang 2018.

Wolf was slow to get up and required the assistance of medical staff, while Brule was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct.

At the time, Canada trailed the underdog Germany 4-1. Brule scored Canada's lone goal of the contest.
