Time for a curling summit?

Canada's men's curling team, led by skip Kevin Koe, fell 7-5 to Switzerland in the bronze medal game Friday.

It's the first time since curling was added to the Olympics in 1998 that Canada, whose men's team was the three-time defending gold medalist, has failed to secure a medal in either men's or women's curling.

The Canadian women's team, led by Rachel Homan, failed to qualify for the playoffs of their tournament.

The failures will certainly lead to some tough questions for a nation that prides itself on curling supremacy.

Canada doesn't leave the sheets in PyeongChang completely empty-handed, however. The team of Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris claimed gold in the first-ever mixed doubles tournament at the Olympics.
