Aces' Wilson wins 2nd WNBA Finals MVP
Las Vegas Aces superstar A'ja Wilson was named 2025 WNBA Finals MVP on Friday.
She's the only NBA or WNBA player to capture the scoring title, MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and Finals MVP in the same season, according to ESPN's Alexa Philippou.

Wilson also becomes the sixth player in WNBA history to win Finals MVP multiple times. She previously won the award two years ago when the Aces defeated the New York Liberty in four games.
The Phoenix Mercury had no answer for Wilson, who averaged 28.5 points, 11.8 boards, and two blocks in the four-game sweep.
Wilson set a new WNBA record for points scored in one Finals series (114) and points scored over an entire postseason campaign (322), per ESPN Insights.
