Lynx star Collier ruled out for must-win Game 4 vs. Mercury
Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier won't play in Sunday's Game 4 against the Phoenix Mercury, the Lynx announced Saturday.
Collier will be sidelined for the must-win game due to an ankle injury she suffered late in Minnesota's Game 3 loss Friday.
Minnesota finished Game 3 without Napheesa Collier or Coach Cheryl Reeve.

The Lynx will also be without head coach Cheryl Reeve, who received a one-game suspension for her conduct and comments toward officials following the play in which Collier was injured.
The 59-year-old was upset with a perceived non-call involving Mercury star Alyssa Thomas, who collided with Collier during a successful steal attempt with under 24 seconds remaining. After being ejected as a result of receiving her second technical foul, Reeve then tore into the referees in her postgame press conference and called on the WNBA to make changes to its officiating leadership.
The head coach also said Collier "probably has a fracture," though the team didn't specify details on its injury report Saturday.
Collier, 29, was Minnesota's leading scorer during the regular season at 22.9 points per game, which ranked just behind A'ja Wilson (23.4) for the league scoring title. The UConn product also became just the second player in WNBA history to record a 50/40/90 season after posting 53.1/40.3/90.6 shooting splits.
