Chicago Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot will miss the rest of the 2025 campaign after an MRI revealed a torn ACL in her right knee, the team announced Sunday.

The 36-year-old will undergo surgery to repair the ligament.

Vandersloot sustained the injury while driving to the basket midway through the first quarter of Saturday's 79-52 loss to the Indiana Fever. She had to be carried off the floor and didn't return to the game.

Vandersloot led the Sky in assists (5.3) and was their third-leading scorer (10.6) through the first seven games of the season.

The Gonzaga product will become an unrestricted free agent next offseason.

The Sky sit 11th in the WNBA after a 2-5 start. They'll take on the undefeated New York Liberty on Tuesday night.
