For Robert Lewandowski, accolades come in twos.
The Poland striker secured a UEFA World Cup qualifying campaign record with 16 goals, one better than Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo after the Real Madrid star failed to score Tuesday in a 2-0 victory over Switzerland.

Six-time Poland Player of the Year Lewandowski has now led a qualifying campaign in goals twice on the trot after topping the charts during the Euro 2016 preliminaries with 13 tallies, a joint record with Northern Ireland's David Healy (2008).
It's been an international spell rife with records for the Bayern Munich goal machine, and his hat-trick in a 6-1 drubbing of Armenia on Oct. 5 gave him 51 for country, breaking Wlodzimierz Lubanski's national record of 48.
