Robert Lewandowski stands alone after becoming Poland's all-time leading scorer Thursday with his 49th goal.
Poland's place in next summer's World Cup in Russia was all but secured inside the opening 30 minutes of the Group E qualifier against Armenia.
The visitors jumped out to a 1-0 lead inside the first 10 minutes before Lewandowski doubled the advantage with a sweet strike from a set-piece just outside the area.

The Bayern Munich forward made it 3-0 minutes later from an indirect free-kick to pass Wlodzimierz Lubanski and become the country's all-time leading scorer. He added another later in the match to bring his international tally to 50 goals.
Victory ensured that Poland remains atop Group E, while Denmark and Montenegro play later in the day for a chance to boost their hopes of qualifying and possibly catching Poland or reaching the play-offs.
