San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon is on the short list for the women's head coaching vacancy at the University of Florida, sources told SB Nation's Mike Robinson.
She will interview for the position in coming days, the report states.
Hammon became the first full-time, paid female assistant coach on an NBA staff when the Spurs hired her in 2014. The 40-year-old played collegiate at Colorado State and had a 15-year pro career, including 14 years in the WNBA.
