Report: Dinamo Zagreb defender Jozo Simunovic in talks with Celtic

Croatian Under-21 international Jozo Simunovic is reportedly on the verge of a move to Scottish champions Celtic.

The Dinamo Zagreb defender last featured in Saturday's 3-0 win over Slaven Koprivnica, and will end his association with the club he joined as a 12-year-old.

The 21-year-old played against Celtic in the group stages of last season's Europa League.

Should the transfer go through, Simunovic becomes the first Croatian to represent the Bhoys.

The move could also pave the way for Virgil van Dijk's rumoured move to Southampton.
