Liverpool and Sevilla were handed respective fines of €16,000 and €17,000 by UEFA on Monday due to the behaviour of their supporters in the Europa League final on May 18.
Defeated finalist Liverpool was hit for crowd disturbances and setting off fireworks. Sevilla, which won 3-1 to secure a third straight Europa League crown at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, was punished for crowd disturbances and throwing objects.
Clashes between fans occurred before kickoff, and the atmosphere remained tetchy as the supporters of two big clubs crammed into a 38,500-capacity stadium for their showpiece.
The Reds led 1-0 at the break courtesy of a Daniel Sturridge effort, but Sevilla wrapped up the tie in the second stanza via Kevin Gameiro and a Coke brace.
