Sampdoria's Milan Skriniar: Appears twice for Slovakia during Euro 2016

Skriniar made two appearances (one start) for Hungary during Euro 2016, recording one shot off target, four dribbles, two tackles and two fouls. He takes his international record to four caps with no goals. Slovakia were swept away 3-0 at the hands of Germany and were knocked out at the round of 16.

Analysis:

Skriniar is a young prospect who started the season with four goals and four clean sheets in 18 starts for Slovak side Zilina before transferring to Sampdoria in January. The 21-year-old defender, though, found playing time hard to come by for Sampdoria and only had three Serie A appearances (two starts) with no goals or assists and having being sent off in the last game of the season he'll have to miss the 2016/17 Serie A season opener.
