Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri not looking for new signings
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri seems to be happy with his squad after ruling out doing business during the January transfer window.
Despite the Italian side's frustrating start to the season, Juventus has hit its stride in recent months after stringing together seven straight Serie A wins to bring the club within three points of league leaders Inter Milan.
The run of results has helped boost confidence at the club, along with triggering Allegri's dismissive response when the Italian media asked about potential additions.
"The squad is competitive and there are only a few players who are good enough to improve it," Allegri told reporters.
His attitude was similar when asked about the possibility of Simone Zaza leaving the club before the transfer window closes, say he doesn't see the need to sell a player he shares a positive relationship with.
"I don't understand why he should go away, there should not be this storm about him," he said. "I speak to him every day, he is a player with great quality who has improved a lot and is important for us, so it's fair that he stays here.
"We have four top-quality players in attack and they should fight for their places."
