VIDEO: Sampdoria's Joaquin Correa misses wide-open net from 4 yards away

It was probably harder to miss the target than it was to score, but Sampdoria's Joaquin Correa managed to do it anyway.

The 21-year-old Argentinian couldn't find the back of the net from about four yards away Sunday. Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic appeared to save the initial shot from Correa, only for the ball to squeak between his legs.

The open net practically invited the first goal of the game, but instead became the site of an early-season blunder.

Correa hasn't yet scored in Serie A since joining Sampdoria from Estudiantes in January.
