VIDEO: Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi scores after phenomenal aerial ball from Geoffrey Kondogbia
It took three appearances, but Mauro Icardi finally tallied his first goal of the Serie A season Sunday, scoring the lone goal in Inter Milan's 1-0 victory at Chievo Verona.
The ice was broken in the 42nd minute of the fixture, when Geoffrey Kondogbia produced yet another moment of brilliance, taking out Verona's entire backline with a beautiful aerial pass before Icardi, after poking the ball past 'keeper Albano Bizzarri, slotted the ball into the back of the net.
With the winner, Icardi is on the brink of equalling the number of Serie A goals notched by Samuel Eto'o when he was at Inter.
Mauro Icardi (32 in 61 games) with one more goal will equalize Eto'o (33 in 67 games) goals for Inter in Serie A.

Of course, the Argentinian forward is within range of Eto'o largely because of the 22 goals he notched last season.
