Borussia Dortmund winger Jakub Blaszczykowski joins Fiorentina on loan

Borussia Dortmund veteran Jakub Blaszczykowski has joined Fiorentina on a season-long loan, the German club confirmed on Monday.

Blaszczykowski has played with BVB for the past eight seasons, but he lost his place in the starting XI after tearing his ACL in January 2014.

He played in more than 250 matches in the famous yellow-and-black kit, winning the Bundesliga title twice.

The move allows the Polish international the opportunity to play regular football ahead of the 2016 Euros.
