Alessandro Matri completes loan move to Lazio from AC Milan

Lazio has made a late move to bolster its attacking ranks, announcing Monday that the club has signed Alessandro Matri on a season-long loan from AC Milan.
Matri, 31, has bounced around Serie A over the past three years, spending loan spells with Fiorentina, Genoa, and Juventus since making a permanent move to the San Siro in 2013.
While he has never been able to establish himself as a first-choice striker since his breakout campaign with Cagliari in 2009-10 – when he found the net 13 times – Matri will add some depth to Stefano Pioli's club.
With Lazio competing in the Europa League this season, and with Miroslav Klose not getting any younger, having a serviceable veteran like Matri could prove useful for the Biancocelesti.
