Martin Montoya completes medical ahead of move to Inter Milan
Inter's summer overhaul continues.
The club, already having completed the signings of Jeison Murillo, Geoffrey Kondogbia, and Miranda ahead of the new season, are on the verge of landing right-back Martin Montoya from Barcelona.

The 24-year-old defender, a product of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, underwent a medical with the Italian club Thursday, a signal that his move - thought to be a two-year loan with an option to buy - is imminent.

Montoya made just eight La Liga appearances last season, and with Dani Alves signing a contract extension - and Aleix Vidal coming aboard - it was abundantly clear that the Spaniard was going to spend the coming season stapled to the bench if he remained at the Camp Nou.
