Arturo Vidal escapes injury after being involved in car accident in Chile
Chile and Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has escaped injury after he was involved in a car accident in his homeland on Tuesday.
Reports began to surface late in the day suggesting that the 28-year-old, who has been one of the undisputed stars of the 2015 Copa America thus far, crashed his Ferrari on a highway on the outskirts of Santiago.
After police confirmed that a red Ferrari was involved in the incident - the same vehicle the mohawk-clad dynamo arrived to training with earlier in the day - Vidal confirmed that he was indeed in an accident, but was quick to note that he and his family did not sustain any serious injuries.
