VIDEO: Roma's Alessandro Florenzi scores screamer after superb solo run
Goals like this are why Alessandro Florenzi is becoming renowned for his versatility.
Roma got off to an excellent start in their Serie A fixture at Sassuolo on Wednesday, scoring two goals within the opening half-hour, including a beauty from their 24-year-old who is often compared to Francesco Totti.
Upon collecting the ball on the right flank, Florenzi - playing as a right-back although you'd never know it - cut into the box by shaking off two opponents before blasting a phenomenal shot through Sassuolo's backline and past the outstretched fingertips of 'keeper Andrea Consigli.
Florenzi's goal also brought an end to an ugly streak that stretched back to early February.
14 - Roma had scored more than one goal only in one of their previous 14 league matches (vs Cagliari). Awakening. #SassuoloRoma
