Juventus continues to look toward the future, locking up a player touted as one of Italy's best young defenders.
The club announced Monday that they've purchased the other half on Daniele Rugani's contract from Empoli for €3.5 million - a fee which will be paid over the next four seasons.
Rugani, 20, had been co-owned by the two clubs.
He will remain on loan with Empoli until the end of the season, at which point he'll enter the first year of his contract with Juventus, which runs until 2019.
