Giovinco left out of Juventus squad, fuels speculation of early MLS move
Reuters
All the signs point to Sebastian Giovinco leaving Juventus this month and joining his new club Toronto FC in time for the beginning of the fast-approaching MLS campaign.
The pint-sized attacker was left off of Juventus' squad for their match against Udinese on Sunday, and without any report of an injury, the natural conclusion is that the 28-year-old will join Toronto in the very near future.
Toronto FC has refused to comment on any speculation regarding Giovinco's early arrival, with general manager Tim Bezbatchenko maintaining since the day the signing was made official that the Italian would remain with the Serie A club until the conclusion of their season - and thus arrive in Toronto in June.
