Right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner will be remaining at Juventus for at least the next two-and-a-half seasons.
Lichtsteiner, whose previous deal was set to expire at the end of the season, has established himself as one of the top full-backs in Serie A since joining Juventus from Lazio in 2011. In particular, his ability to join the attack on the right flank has been praised, evidenced by the two goals and four assists he's notched this season.
The Swiss defender's new contract also includes an option of a further 12 months, meaning Lichtsteiner could still be with the reigning Serie A champions by the time he turns 34 years old.
