Report: Juventus to announce contract extensions for Buffon, Chiellini on Thursday

Juventus will secure the services of two longstanding stalwarts Thursday, when it is expected that the club will announce contract extensions for goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and defender Giorgio Chiellini.

The club announced that a press conference will be held tomorrow with Buffon, Chiellini and president Andrea Agnelli in attendance, and speculation has been rife that the duo will extend their current deals.

Both men are in the final season of their respective contracts, but director general Beppe Marotta has long suggested that neither will see those deals expire before being offered extensions.
