VIDEO: Roma's Pjanic scores brilliant solo goal vs. Milan
Reuters
Roma closed the gap on league leaders Juventus to five points on Friday, courtesy of a straightforward 2-0 victory over AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.
The title hopefuls took a lead they would never relinquish in the 43rd minute, as Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic weaved his way through three Milan defenders before slotting the ball beneath goalkeeper Christian Abbiati.
Milan could be derided for having a defense reminiscent of Swiss cheese, but doing that would be to take away from Pjanic's incredible effort.
Lionel Messi would be proud.
