Milan, Aug 8, 2022 (AFP) - Wojciech Szczesny will miss Juventus' Serie A opener against Sassuolo after picking up a thigh injury which will keep him out for around three weeks, the club said on Monday.
Poland goalkeeper Szczesny "is expected to be out for around 20 days" after exams identified the injury following Juve's 4-0 friendly thumping at the hands of Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
Juventus, who will host Sassuolo in Turin on August 15, also have new signing Paul Pogba out with a knee injury ahead of the first weekend of the 2022/23 campaign.
