Genoa's match vs. Torino postponed after virus sweeps squad

Genoa's match against Torino on Saturday is postponed after 15 of their players and staff tested positive for the coronavirus.

Serie A said the game will be played at a later date.

It's the first match to be scrapped because of the coronavirus since the league initially suspended play in March.

The cases were discovered after Genoa's 6-0 loss to Napoli last weekend. All of Napoli's tests came back negative.

Genoa requested the match be postponed because the majority of the squad was self-isolating and unable to train.

A match can only take place if a team has 13 players available, including a goalkeeper.
