Juventus reached an agreement with Sampdoria earlier in June to sign the 21-year-old forward after reportedly agreeing to meet his €25-million release clause.
A brief statement on Juve's website indicated Schick is undergoing a "routine" medical and that confirmation of his transfer will be announced later in the day.
Whether he features for Juve this upcoming season remains to be seen, as reports suggest the young striker could be set for a return to Sampdoria on a season-long loan.
Juventus reportedly edged out rival Roma to sign Schick, who joined Sampdoria last summer from Sparta Prague for a fee worth €4 million.
Schick wrapped up his first season in Italy's top flight with 11 goals in 32 appearances.
