Mandzukic extends Juventus deal until 2020
Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic has signed a contract extension that will see him remain with the Serie A giant until 2020, the club announced Thursday.
Croatian striker Mandzukic has been an integral part of Massimiliano Allegri's side since joining the club from Atletico Madrid in 2015.
The 31-year-old's current deal was set to end in 2019, but Juventus announced on Thursday: "Mario is one of the symbols of this team, and he will be for even longer.
"The Croatian striker has signed a one-year contract extension that will see him remain at Juventus until 2020."
In 84 appearances for Juventus, Mandzukic has scored 23 goals in all competitions, helping Juve to a record sixth consecutive Scudetto, a record third league and cup double and a place in the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Cardiff.
