Federico Bernardeschi completely wasted his chance to bring Fiorentina level with Inter Milan after producing one of the worst penalty attempts of the season.

The Italian forward was left red-faced when his attempt at a Panenka was easily scooped up by Inter net-minder Samir Handanovic.

It likely wasn't a coincidence that Bernardeschi's day came to an end shortly after, as he was substituted out of the match six minutes later. His removal also coincided with a flurry of Fiorentina goals to vault the Viola in front of Inter 5-2 in the second half.
