Washington Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams should be ready for training camp after dealing with a medical scare over the last several weeks, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Williams reportedly developed a growth or tumor on his head that doctors feared was malignant. However, the growth was recently removed and shouldn't be an issue moving forward.

There was initial concern that the lineman could miss the entire 2019 season, Rapoport adds.

Williams was the Redskins' first-round pick (No. 4 overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft. He's one of the league's premier blockers when healthy but has battled a number of football-related injuries in recent campaigns.
