Celtics' Morris apologizes for smacking official's butt after ejection vs. Raptors

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Marcus Morris has seemingly learned a valuable lesson: Don't touch an NBA official right after they eject you.

The Boston Celtics forward apologized Tuesday night on Twitter for his behavior late in Saturday's 110-99 win over the Toronto Raptors. After being assessed two technical fouls between free-throw attempts with just seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Morris patted a referee on the butt and exited the floor at TD Garden.
