Justin Timberlake was recently seen sinking half-court shots at the Washington Wizards' practice facility, prompting TMZ Sports to ask former bandmate Joey Fatone who would win a pickup game between *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys.

Fatone acknowledged that Timberlake - a minority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies - is a much better basketball player than he is, but thinks the odds are in *NSYNC's favor.

"We could probably kick their ass," Fatone said. "I know so. There's no 'think so'. You tell that to Nick Carter. You tell that frickin' Howie Dorough."

The boyband rivals did square off in several charity basketball games during their heyday. The grainy footage below is from a game in Germany in 1997.
