Giannis gets Bucks to stop selling shirt of his dunk on Hardaway
Giannis Antetokounmpo is a good guy ... off the court.
The Milwaukee Bucks phenom destroyed Tim Hardaway Jr. last month when he literally jumped over the New York Knicks point guard on a fast-break dunk.
The Bucks loved it so much they put it on a T-shirt.
However, Antetokounmpo spoke out against it, saying he didn't think selling the shirt was the right thing to do, according to ESPN's Eric Nehm. Milwaukee wisely yielded to the superstar, deleting the tweet and ceasing distribution of the tee.
Though it was seen as a Dunk of the Year candidate, Antetokounmpo downplayed the disrespectful display in February and suggested it was an accident.
"I did not see Tim Hardaway under me," Antetokounmpo said, per ESPN. "I just went up there and just went hard and tried to get the ball and dunk the ball."
