Jalen Ramsey: Jaguars taking 'no positives' from loss to Patriots

After winning just three games last season, most would view the Jacksonville Jaguars' narrow loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game as a massive success story.

Star cornerback Jalen Ramsey wasn't interested in talking about that after Sunday's loss, however.

"Nah, there ain't no positives in no Ls, I'll be real with you all," Ramsey said postgame, as per Kevin Patra on NFL.com. "Everybody trying to tell you all, 'We're taking this out of that, we're taking that out of that.' We had one goal today, that was to get to the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do that. We took an L. So we have to go back to the drawing board for next year and do more than what we did today."

While Ramsey wasn't decidedly proud of how the Jaguars have progressed, there's plenty of reason to be optimistic about the future. The team boasts one of the youngest rosters in the NFL, and has a number of key players just entering their prime.

The defense is among the best in the league with a number of talented young playmakers, with Ramsey leading the way. Rookie Leonard Fournette powered the NFL's top rushing attack and figures only to get better in his second season.
