The Philadelphia Flyers re-signed pending restricted free-agent forward Tyson Foerster to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $3.75 million, the team announced Thursday.

He'll be an RFA once again at the end of the new deal.

Foerster is coming off a breakout season in which he tallied 25 goals and 18 assists in 81 games. He notched 20 goals and 13 assists in his rookie year in 2023-24.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound winger has also shown strong defensive ability in his brief career. He's ranked second on the team in defensive goals above replacement to Garnet Hathaway over the last two seasons, per Evolving-Hockey.

Foerster earned a spot on Canada's roster at the 2025 World Championship, where he notched two goals and an assist in seven games.

The Flyers drafted Foerster 23rd overall in 2020.

Noah Cates, Jakob Pelletier, and Cam York are Philadelphia's remaining RFAs.
