Edmonton head coach Kris Knoblauch said he'll provide an update on Hyman's status Wednesday, according to Sportsnet's Gene Principe.
"He's a top player for us," Oilers defenseman Brett Kulak said postgame. "Tough to lose anybody. He brings an element to the game and to our team that not many other guys around the league can bring to their team. Tough to see him leave, and hopefully he's alright."
Hyman had five goals and 11 points in 14 playoff games entering Tuesday's clash, and he leads the postseason with 109 hits. The 32-year-old tallied 27 goals and 44 points in 73 regular-season contests.
The Oilers own a 2-1 series lead over the Stars.
