Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey departed Saturday's Game 6 loss against the Dallas Stars after getting tangled with Mikko Rantanen late in the second period and did not return.

Morrissey appeared to be favoring his left leg as he exited the ice.

Jets head coach Scott Arniel said postgame that Morrissey's injury is "not good."

Morrissey led all Jets defensemen in points (62) and average time on ice (24:23) during the regular season. He recorded six assists in 12 games this postseason.

The 30-year-old has finished in the top seven in Norris Trophy voting in each of the past two seasons.
