The NFL's dominance of television viewership in the United States continued in 2024.

NFL games accounted for 72 of the 100 most-watched U.S. TV broadcasts last year, according to Anthony Crupi of Sportico. The league did, however, experience a slight decline in viewership from 2023 and 2022, when it had 93 and 82 of the top 100 broadcasts, respectively.

Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers was the most-watched broadcast of the year, attracting 123.7 million viewers. The second U.S. presidential debate came in at No. 2 with 67.1 million viewers, followed by the NFC Championship Game (56.3 million) and AFC Championship Game (55.5 million).

The Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys were the biggest draws among NFL teams, making 13 appearances each on the list.
