Orioles add former All-Star Segura on minor-league deal

The Baltimore Orioles and infielder Jean Segura agreed to a minor-league contract, the team announced, according to Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Banner.

Segura, a two-time All-Star, hasn't played in the majors this season. He last suited up for the Miami Marlins in 2023, slashing .219/.277/.279 with three homers and 21 RBIs over 85 games.

The 34-year-old has also played for the Los Angeles Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Seattle Mariners, and Philadelphia Phillies over his 12-year career.

Segura has recorded 110 long balls, 513 RBIs, 211 stolen bases, and a .729 OPS over 1,413 games.
