Phillies' Castellanos homers same day Brennaman returns to broadcasting
A drive into deep left field by Nick Castellanos ... again.
The Philadelphia Phillies outfielder hit a home run in the ninth inning of Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on the same day former Cincinnati Reds announcer Thom Brennaman announced his return to national broadcasting.

Brennaman, who lost his job after using an anti-gay slur during a broadcast in August 2020, interrupted his on-air apology to call Castellanos' homer versus the Kansas City Royals, which created one of baseball's most popular memes:
The 60-year-old Brennaman will lead college football coverage starting next season for The CW Network, Andrew Marchand of The Athletic reported Sunday.
