UFC 302 weigh-in results: Makhachev, Poirier cleared for title fight

UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier made weight Friday before they square off in the UFC 302 main event Saturday in Newark.
Makhachev, who's set to defend his title for the third time, and Poirier both weighed in at 155 pounds.
Sean Strickland and Paulo Costa were also on the mark for their middleweight co-main event. Both fighters tipped the scale at 185 pounds.
