Broncos release new uniforms, including throwback jersey

Broncos

The Denver Broncos unveiled their new jerseys for the 2024 season on Monday, including a 1977-inspired throwback set.

The sets for the Broncos' uniforms include Sunset Orange (home), Summit White (away), and Midnight Navy (alternate).

The new jerseys feature miniature triangles within the numbers and in a stripe on the navy and white helmets. The white helmet is also part of the navy alternate uniform set. The number 5,280 appears on the front of the helmet and other areas, referencing Denver's altitude. The sleeve cap is also intended to look like a mountain peak.

The throwback threads, which were teased in the main promotional video, are based on Denver's 1977 season, when it made the Super Bowl for the first time. The iconic "D" logo also makes its return on the throwback helmets.

The main uniforms, which are called the "Mile High Collection," aim to blend elements of the team's past, present, and future while also paying tribute to Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, according to team president Damani Leech.

It marks the Broncos' first jersey change since 1997.
