UFC 299 weigh-in results: O'Malley, Vera cleared for title rematch

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley and Marlon "Chito" Vera made weight Friday before they square off in the UFC 299 main event Saturday night in Miami.

O'Malley, set to defend his title for the first time, weighed 135 pounds. Vera, one of the final fighters to step on the scales, came in at championship weight.

Dustin Poirier and Benoit Saint Denis were also on the mark for their lightweight co-main event. The former UFC interim champion weighed in at 156 pounds, while the rising contender hit 155 pounds.

No. 1-ranked bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili, the backup to the main event, also successfully weighed in at 135 pounds.
