Victor Wembanyama's dazzling rookie campaign continued Friday evening in Hollywood as the phenom notched a rare stat line in the San Antonio Spurs' 123-118 defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Wembanyama tallied 27 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, five steals, and five blocks to become just the 15th player in NBA history to achieve the elusive 5x5, per ESPN's Andrew Lopez.

At age 20, the Frenchman surpassed Andrei Kirilenko as the youngest to accomplish the feat.

Wembanyama is the second rookie after Jamaal Tinsley to record a 5x5 and the first player to do it since Jusuf Nurkic in January 2019 as a member of the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 2023 No. 1 overall pick also joins Michael Jordan as the only players in league history to register at least five steals and five blocks in consecutive games, Lopez adds.

"He doesn't have a ceiling," Lakers star LeBron James told The Associated Press' Greg Beachem about Wembanyama. "He can do whatever he wants to do in his career. It seems like he enjoys the game. It seems like he puts the work in, just from the outside looking in. ... I said a long time ago how special he was, and it's really that simple."

Wembanyama posted his 5x5 in 30 minutes and 55 seconds of action, the fewest minutes among the players to earn the achievement, according to Lopez.

Marcus Camby set the previous record 20 years ago in 34 minutes of play.
