San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams has zero plans to retire following the conclusion of the 2023 season.

"Oh yeah, 100%," Williams said when asked if he'd be back in 2024, according to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Williams briefly pondered retiring after last season before deciding to return. The 35-year-old has a record in his sights as he hopes to become the first tackle to be selected to the Pro Bowl 12 times.

"I want to break the record for tackles. That's a big thing for me," Williams said.

Williams was voted to his 11th straight Pro Bowl earlier this year after protecting the blindside for a 49ers team that went 12-5 and finished with the NFC's No. 1 seed.

San Francisco is preparing to play the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round Saturday at 8:15 p.m. ET.
