The 6-foot-9 big man picked the Wildcats over Missouri.
"We really liked the vision they had for Jayden and the direction for his future," said Quaintance's father, according to 247Sports' Eric Bossi. "We like their plan for his development and for getting him ready to take the next step."
Quaintance joins guard Boogie Fland as the second five-star prospect to join Kentucky's 2024 recruiting class. The Wildcats also secured commitments from center Somto Cyril (No. 55) and guard Travis Perry (No. 84).
Kentucky was eliminated in the second round of March Madness last season. The Wildcats started this campaign 2-0 and will face No. 1 Kansas on Tuesday.
