The San Antonio Spurs are giving starting center Zach Collins a two-year, $35-million extension, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Sunday.

Collins will now be under contract through the 2025-26 season.

The former No. 10 pick has found a home in San Antonio after joining the franchise in 2021. He put up a career-high 11.6 points and 6.4 rebounds on 51.8% shooting last season.

Collins struggled with injuries and inefficiency early in his career with the Portland Trail Blazers, playing in just 154 games across four seasons.

Head coach Gregg Popovich and the Spurs have opted to start the 6-foot-11 Collins alongside 7-foot-4 rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama in the frontcourt to begin the year, pairing a more traditional big man next to the perimeter-oriented Frenchman.
