Uga X retires as winningest mascot in Georgia history
Uga X's run as mascot at Georgia has come to an end.
The beloved English bulldog is retiring, the school announced Tuesday, and will be replaced by a 10-month-old puppy named Boom. The puppy will be unveiled as Uga XI ahead of Georgia's G-Day Game on Saturday.
Uga X, also known as Que, joined the Bulldogs' football program in 2015 when he was two-and-a-half years old. He compiled a 91-18 record, including back-to-back national championships in 2022 and 2023, making him the winningest mascot in Georgia history.
Welcome, Boom!

Georgia's current line of English bulldog mascots dates back to Uga I, who made his first appearance for the school at the 1956 home opener.
